Correspondence-Abraham Germando. 1841-1848.

Letters concerning Rabbi Nathan Amram and his collection of funds for the Jewish community of Hebron in 1840-1842. Included is a letter from the Consistoire central israélite with the signature of Adolphe Cremieux, among others, and a letter from Rabbi Amram to Baron Rothschild in Paris and two letters from Rabbi Abraham Germondo of Constantinople, 1840-1842. There is a full description of the letters in a page from an enclosed German auction catalog.
